Labels are quick visual tags you can attach to projects, quotes, and tasks — whether to flag a state (like On Hold or Awaiting feedback) or to categorise the type of work (like Animation, Client task, or Epic).
Note
Creating and managing labels
Select New label to create one, or click any existing label's row to edit it. Use the three-dot menu on a row to delete a label.
Each label has a name, a colour, and a description explaining when to use it. All three are required, so your team always knows what a label means when they see it. Changes apply immediately wherever the label is in use.
Tip
Filtering by label
Once labels are in use, they become a way to narrow a list down. The Tasks, Sprints, and Board pages all carry a Labels tab in their filter panel, so you can pull up every task tagged Animation without reading through the ones that aren't.
Type in the tab's search box to find a label by name — the search runs against every label in the workspace, not just the ones already on screen, so a workspace with hundreds of labels is still searchable. Scroll the list to load more.

Access to Labels is restricted to Owners, Admins, and Editors. Members, Contributors, and Viewers can't view or manage labels here, but they can see labels wherever they're applied. Members and Contributors can also tag their own work using labels that already exist.
