Dashboard overview

A real-time view of your team's activity across projects, tasks, and resource.

The dashboard gives you a real-time overview of your team's activity across projects, tasks, and resource. It covers the high-level activity you need to stay across what's happening without digging through individual projects.

Complete your onboarding

A checklist of setup tasks for your workspace, grouped by area, with progress tracked as you complete each item. The items you see depend on your role: owners and admins also get workspace-wide setup (HR, integrations, project management essentials), while everyone sees personal setup (profile, notifications) and a first-project + tutorial walkthrough. Expand any group to see what's left, or collapse the panel once you're done.

The four dashboard widgets

  • Timesheet reporting: Timesheets are the basis of all project reporting — if you want to see how your money is being spent, it's important your team is logging their time. The dashboard shows a quick view of who is and isn't doing their timesheets so you can chase them to complete.
  • Logged time across projects (Owners and Admins only): A breakdown of where your team's time is actually being spent by project. Defaults to the current week; switch to monthly or yearly to spot which projects are quietly eating capacity over longer horizons. Filter by member to see how an individual on your team is spending their time. It's on every plan — Enterprise puts it in the top row, Free further down the page.
  • Pinned projects: Prioritise the projects that are most important to you by pinning their performance snapshot and quick access links.
  • Resourcing heatmap (Enterprise): If you run a busy business, constantly managing multiple projects with a lean head count, staying on top of resource management is key. The heatmap widget helps you spot under- and over-resourced individuals so you can reallocate work and make good decisions about project scheduling.

The Dashboard is available to everyone in the workspace, but which widgets you see depends on your role — and on the Project management area being switched on. Owners and Admins get the workspace-wide view of team activity (Timesheet reporting, Logged time across projects), with the ability to drill into any member's day-by-day breakdown. Editors, Members, and Contributors see a personal-scoped Timesheet reporting widget showing their own daily bars, but not the team-wide view or Logged time across projects. The Resourcing heatmap is limited to Owners, Admins, and Editors on the Enterprise plan. Viewers see only the parts of the Dashboard that don't expose team-wide activity or personal time-log data — onboarding, pinned projects, and the Catch up feed.
