Billing

Review your current plan and how much of your workspace's member and storage quotas are in use.

Billing is where you can review your current plan and see how much of your workspace's member and storage quotas are in use.

What you'll see

Your Current plan shows either Free or Enterprise. On the Free plan you'll see usage rings for Members, Projects, and Storage, each showing your current count against the plan limit. Enterprise workspaces see a Seats ring and a Storage ring instead — Members and Projects are unlimited there, so seats are the number worth watching. Every ring turns amber at 80% and red at 95%.

Seat limits on Enterprise

Enterprise workspaces come with a default seat limit of 10 full members — anyone with the Owner, Admin, Editor, Member, or Contributor role (the roles that actively work in Trellis).

Need a higher limit? Select Contact us to manage billing to open a conversation with our team.

When we change your seat limit, the workspace Owner and Admins are notified — in Trellis and by email — rather than finding out the next time an invite is blocked. The notice names the previous limit, the new one, and how many full members you currently have. If a change leaves you at or over the new limit, the notice says so plainly: nobody is removed, but new full-member invites are blocked until you're back under it. Viewers are unaffected either way.

Changing your plan or payment details

Trellis doesn't currently support self-serve plan changes. Select Contact us to upgrade (Free plan) or Contact us to manage billing (Enterprise) to open a conversation with our team. We'll walk you through the options, sort payment details, and take care of the switch on your end.

Access to Billing is restricted to Owners and Admins. Every other role still feels the effects of the plan — through member limits, storage caps, and which Enterprise-only features are available. Only Owners and Admins can see the usage rings or start a conversation about upgrading.
