See the whole team's leave on one timeline

A new Leave calendar, under Resourcing in the sidebar, shows everyone's leave on one timeline: one row per person and one column per day, across last leave year, this one and next. It can also find you a stretch of days when everyone is in.

  • Leave is coloured by absence type, with pending leave striped. Hover a bar for the dates, days and status.
  • Search for people, jump to today, zoom between days, weeks and months, and filter by people, project, absence type or status.
  • Suggest time finds the next run of working days, from 1 to 60, when nobody you are looking at is off. Previous and Next free time move the suggestion a working day at a time.
  • Part of HR on the Enterprise plan, for everyone except Contributors and Viewers. Other people's absence types, pending leave, and the absence type and status filters stay with Owners and Admins.

Arrange the dashboard around how you work

The dashboard is no longer one fixed layout for everyone. Choose which widgets you see and where they go, and the layout is saved for you alone.

  • Select Customize on the dashboard, then drag widgets between the two columns, switch them off, or bring one back from Additional widgets. Reset to default puts everything back.
  • Two new widgets for Enterprise workspaces with HR switched on: My leave allowance shows what you have available and used this year, and My leave lists your recent leave with its status.
  • While you are getting set up, a Resources to get you started panel links to the docs for the onboarding steps you have not finished yet.

Resourcing in hours or days

Project resourcing can now show every figure in hours or in days, and the choice is shared with Planning. The company-wide Resourcing page gains a rate card filter and always shows a full year.

  • Switch between Hours and Days in the project Resourcing header. Figures show in one unit, such as 11.3h or 1.4d, and your choice is remembered.
  • Week columns show their full date range, empty weeks are marked Unresourced, and Go to this week brings you back to now.
  • The Resourcing page always covers 52 weeks, moved with the arrows below the grid, and loads more people as you scroll.
  • Leave on the Resourcing page needs HR, which is part of the Enterprise plan. On the Free plan the Leave & absence row stays visible but locked, with a way to upgrade.
  • Filter Resourcing by rate card, including people with no rate card. Every filter starts with everything selected, with Select all and Reset all to get back.
  • Planning flags members with no rate card, since the costs on the page can't be right without one.

Ask Trellis gets a page of its own

Expand Ask Trellis into a full page with your past conversations alongside, and follow its answers straight to the work they mention.

  • Select Expand in the Ask panel, or Ask Trellis in the sidebar. Open the sidebar on that page to pick up a past conversation or start a new chat.
  • Projects and tasks named in a reply are links.
  • A few suggested follow-up questions appear under the latest reply. Select one to ask it.
  • Tasks have an Open in Claude Code option in their More options menu, which starts a Claude Code session with the task already described.
  • Trellis AI is part of the Enterprise plan and available to everyone except Viewers.

Applications replace personal API keys

Settings → Connected apps is now Applications. It still holds your Slack and Google Calendar connections, and Owners and Admins can now install and build applications for the whole workspace.

  • Install an application into all projects or only the ones you choose, and change or remove its access at any time.
  • Build your own: register an application with its name, description and logo, sign in with OAuth, and receive events through signed webhooks you can pause, redeliver and rotate.
  • Applications act through their own app user, which doesn't take a seat.

Personal API keys have been removed

Personal API keys, under Security settings, are gone, and any key created there stops working with this release. Anything that used one should move to an application, which can be limited to the projects it needs.

Smaller improvements

A handful of changes that take a little friction out of the day.

  • Right-click a time log on the timesheet and choose Go to task to open the task it was logged against.
  • New tabs, and links from the docs and website, open in the workspace you used last.
  • A new project's collaborators start with up to three people from the workspace, leaving out Viewers and Contributors.
  • Signing in with Google or Microsoft without an account now tells you so and offers Sign up. When you create a workspace, the handle fills itself in from the name and suggests another if it is taken.
